Errik B. Anderson

Errik Anderson

Currently the President of Seven West Ventures, Errik has over five years experience in the venture industry. He started his career in the Technology group at Lehman Brothers Investment Banking before moving to Lehman Brothers Venture Capital where he oversaw investments in IT hardware, enterprise software, telecommunications equipment, life sciences, medical devices, alternative energy and security software.

Errik also serves as the President and Chairman of the Robert and Evelyn Kaiser Education Fund, an independent scholarship fund for Dartmouth undergraduates with demonstrated financial need.

Errik studied Biomolecular Engineering under Dr. Tillman Gerngross as part of his M.S. program at the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College and earned his A.B. in Economics with an emphasis in Monetary and Finance Policy and International Economics from Dartmouth. He is happily married and looks forward to a large family some day.


Ned M. Dybvig

Ned Dybvig

Ned Dybvig joins SWV as an analyst at a US-based event driven credit hedge fund. In 2005 Ned moved to London to establish a UK office for the fund.

Prior to this fund Ned was employed at Soros Fund Management in the Distressed and Special Situations Group. Prior to working at Soros Ned was an investment banking analyst at Lehman Brothers in the leveraged finance group.

Ned has a A.B. in English with a minor in Economics in Monetary and Financial Policy from Dartmouth College.


Ryan Jones

Ryan Jones

Ryan Jones joins SWV from Commonwealth Capital Ventures. As an Associate at Commonwealth he managed investments in telecommunications infrastructure, enterprise software, and other emerging technology verticals.

Prior to joining Commonwealth, Ryan Jones was a Senior Analyst at the Yankee Group, a high-technology research and consulting firm. While at the Yankee Group, Ryan was responsible for consumer services and electronics research. Ryan has presented his research at tradeshows and it is referenced in multiple industry and consumer publications. He was named Yankee Group Analyst of the Year for 2002, and was recognized by Adweek’s Technology Marketing as a “Top Analyst Influencer” for two years in a row.

Ryan was recently the Co-Chair of the New England Venture Network (NEVN), an association of venture capitalists in the Boston area. He holds an A.B. from Dartmouth College.


Dan Mahoney

Dan Mahoney

As Treasurer of Seven West Ventures LLC, Dan guides the company through the minefields of small business finance.  Originally from Darien, Connecticut, Dan attended Dartmouth College before moving to New York City in 2001 to join Lehman Brothers in the Investment Banking Division.

 

Dan is currently an Associate and Principal with CRT Capital Group LLC, advising clients on mergers, acquisitions and creative financing of leveraged transactions. He is the Chairman of Board of Directors of The Argus Fund, a Connecticut-based charitable foundation and is the Secretary of the Robert and Evelyn Kaiser Education Fund, an independent scholarship fund for Dartmouth undergraduates with demonstrated financial need. Dan enjoys outdoor sports and grill food.
